What is Tyler’s Mommy Products?
Tyler’s Mommy Products is an African-American-owned business. In 2011 my 6-year old son, Tyler was concerned about why people wanted to put so many products containing harmful chemicals on their bodies. He inspired me to create personal care, cleaning, and wellness products for him and my entire family. But, it wasn’t until 2019 that my sister encouraged me to share my creations with the public. Tyler is my inspiration for most of the products I create.
How did you get the recipes for these products?
Although I have no formal training, I’ve been educating myself about herbal remedies, essential oils, natural products, homeopathy therapies, etc for over ten years. I became voracious at learning by signing up for every free webinar and podcast I could find. I’m constantly researching and looking for ways to improve or enhance my products naturally.
Are your products tested?
Each Tyler’s Mommy Product has gone through multiple variations prior to being added to my collection. I refused to create anything I wouldn’t use on myself or my loved ones FIRST.
How are your products manufactured?
I’m passionate about my tagline, “created with love from the heart of my kitchen to your soul.” When I fulfill orders for my customers, it’s as if you’re a member of my family. Therefore, it’s created with love. My products are never outsourced to manufacturers who’ll produce them for me, and then slap my label on something they created.
Do your products have an expiry date?
Yes. Tyler’s Mommy Products contain no artificial preservatives. My products are made in small batches. Therefore, shelf life is from 1 to 3 years once you’ve received your order.
Are your products certified organic and vegan?
It’s important to me to purchase quality ingredients for all of my products. Not all
ingredients are available in organic forms like sea salt and bentonite clay. However, the herbs, oils and various kinds of butter I use are. For my vegan friends, I refuse to use beeswax. Candelilla wax is plant-based.
Are there chemicals in your products?
No way! Our products do not contain petroleum, aluminum, phthalates, parabens, dyes, or artificial fragrances. And, for those with nut allergies, I no longer use almond and jojoba oil in any of my products.
When will my product arrive?
Once your order is placed, it will ship between 1 - 3 business days depending on your location. All shipments are sent via USPS. You’ll receive an email providing tracking information once it ships.
Do you offer specials or loyalty incentives?

May I cancel my order?
Yes. Contact me for up to 24 hours after placing your order. Send an email to
info@tylersmommy.com and you will be refunded for the entire amount plus shipping.
I forgot to add something, what can I do?
Sure. Send an email, info@tylersmommy.com, up to 24 hours after placing your initial order. I’ll issue an updated invoice with the shipping cost adjustment and cost for the additional items.
What’s your return policy?
Our products have a shelf life and cannot be resold after a certain point. Unopened items in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase. You’ll be refunded for the items, but not for the shipping. Opened/used products may not be returned. If you need a replacement because of damage, let me know. Send me a photo of the damage, and I’ll replace it at no cost to you.
